Cancellation Policy

New Client
:

Please arrive 10 min early on your first visit to fill out an intake.

Cancellation/Late Policy:
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

Running Late:
We understand that issues occur. It helps us a great deal if you call and let us know if you are running late. We will do our best to accommodate you. We generally can work within a 5 minute delay, however, if time runs 10-15 minutes or more, we will likely have to shorten your session by that amount of time. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session, however we will do our best to satisfy the scheduled time. In return, we will make sure we are on time, and if for some reason we are not, we will give you the time back or adjust the price of the session.

Cancellation/No-Shows:
Bodywork Bliss & Wellness asks that you respectfully give a 24 hour notice of cancellation. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
If you are unable to give your therapist a reasonable time of advance notice you may be charged ½ price for the first missed session and full price for all others after.

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment with no contact, will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged the full amount for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

Cancelling of an appointment in less then 24 hours or failure to attend a scheduled appointment with the intent on redeeming a gift certificate will result in the forfeiting of that certificate.
People who have cancelled on us at the last minute or have failed to show up for a scheduled appointment will be asked to guarantee future appointments with a credit card. Refusal to provide us with the credit card information with result in termination of our relationship.
We do understand emergencies and illnesses do occur. If you have a fever, have been in the hospital, have been vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or it begins a couple of hours prior to your scheduled session, or your children are ill and need you at home, please cancel. Equally, if there is an ice storm, please do not drive or walk on the ice if you do not have to. Feel free to call and reschedule your appointment. There will be no charge for these types of cancellations.

Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan your visit accordingly.

As always we respect and value you and your time. We ask that in return we receive the same respect and courtesy.
